How to Join the Ring

Want your own corner of the web in this ring? Here's how it works:

  1. Build Your Page: Learn HTML & CSS and build your personal site in your designated folder. Start with a simple bio page and gradually expand it into a personal web laboratory filled with experiments, additional pages, responsive résumé layouts, coding studies, animations, interactive elements, and creative front-end explorations.
  2. Connect & Publish: Add the navigation to your page, and you'll be linked into the ring! Your site goes live when you push your changes to the shared repository.

It’s hands-on practice with real developer tools—helping you understand not just how to build a site, but how individual work fits into a larger creative ecosystem. Students are encouraged to iterate constantly, experiment freely, borrow inspiration from CodePen and creative coding culture, and treat the web ring as an evolving sandbox rather than a finished assignment.

Pages do not need to feel “finished” before being added to the ring. Experiments, works-in-progress, coding studies, and evolving layouts are all part of the learning process.
